With all of the uncertainty of ongoing changes to restrictions to us Victorians, we want to assure you that while our industry is still considered an essential service, Elite Building Services will remain open and will continue to operate as usual and support our collective efforts to safely continue building beautiful homes.
All trades and suppliers on site must sign into site with HazardCo and must also wear a mask for everyone’s safety. These efforts must continue for our industry to remain an essential service.
Sunday’s Premier announcement was about how we live and Monday’s announcement will be about how we work. We don’t expect there to be any significant change to our industry and we are hopeful that we will continue to be deemed an essential service. However, we will provide you with a further update should any changes affecting our industry and operations occur.
Stage 4 restrictions bring with them an increased strain on everyone. We would like to encourage everyone to please look out for one another, check in on your family and friends and seek help if you need it. We also recommend contacting your GP if you feel you need more help. In recognition of the devastating impact that COVID-19 is having on the wider community’s mental health, Federal health Minister Greg Hunt today announced that a further 10 sessions will be added to the existing 10 sessions under the Mental Health Plan. This is great news which we hope will make it easier for many people to access the psychological support they need during this tough time. A Mental Health Plan is easy to obtain. This can be done via a telehealth appointment over the phone and these appointments can also be bulk-billed.
